The Real Madrid midfielder has struggled for gametime under Zinedine Zidane after leaving Real Betis last summer.
Ceballos has reportedly been asking to leave the Spanish outfit in recent months.
And it appears Madrid chief Florentino Perez is willing to allow the 21-year-old to leave the club this summer.
According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Ceballos will be playing in the Premier League next term.
The publication claims Jurgen Klopp has expressed an interest in the Madrid man, and sees him as the ideal replacement for Coutinho.
And Don Balon reports Perez will have no qualms allowing Ceballos to leave for Anfield in the summer.
But the Los Blancos president will no doubt be aware of Liverpool’s recent influx of cash.
And Ceballos could end up costing the Reds around £150m.
Speaking recently, the youngster admitted he has previously been unhappy at the Bernabeu.
“It’s true that I expected to play more often,” he said.
“I want to keep working and do my very best so that when the coach gives me the chance to play I can actually make an impact,”
“It’s also true that Setien tried to sign me by Christmas, but my idea was to stay in Madrid.
“Many things can happen when the season ends, but I have a contract here and nobody will take my dream from me.”
